June 3rd 2014 Gunnar Biking to school

June 3rd 2014
Definitely looking more legit, too legit almost, with the new bike and helmet.

Gunnar and I biking to school with the new mtn bike with gears, so much better than the dirt bike single speed.
4.2 miles, 35 min.  Stud.  Great way to start the day.  I love the hug and big smile at the end of the ride as he is walking into school, priceless!

MAY 22, 2014  ride to school

MAY 5, 2014 first attempt at riding bike to school.  I was a little rainy out but Gunnar was super excited as can be seen prior to departure... it was a bit nippy, but successful

June 14, 2014 Saturday good stuff

Great night with Murphy's and Peters', awesome food including Vietnamese cabbage salad, sandwiches, homemade cupcakes, and pudgy pies.. copper helped himself to quite a few hamburger patties that were on the table waiting to be made into pudgy pies... or it could have been daisy or navy, though copper looked mighty "suspect".  Roasting mallows and discussing guns, good times had by all.
First night of Fire Flies

Gunnars idea, I think Jorgen wins the award, Lars appears to be trying to sucker punch Jorgen and Gunnar needs a little more something....  we'll work on it
Gunnar wanted me to take a picture of this, the boys were very excited and curious, we are pretty sure it is where a bit of rainbow crashed down

Notice Jorgen's awesome white kicks, I had brought his shoes but found out they were the wrong size and even though I could jam his toes into the lars-size shoe, Jorgen was not having it, luckily we found a dollar store and it was love at first site, there was no talking him into anything else

mmmmmmmmmm, garnish...  Jorgens favorite part of breakfast

Breakfast in Ironwood, MI while VW was getting oil changed, taught the boys how to do spit wads, it was hilarious, they were laughing so hard.   Jorgen and Lars had so much spit saturation that theirs would stick to my face and there would be spit flying out everywhere from their straw.  I tried talking about proper paper to spit ratio and I just don't think they were getting it... I was in the bathroom after breakfast and noticed a nice big juicy one on my ear.  And of course we didn't leave any trace of our shenanigans for our nice waitress to discover, I think...  Creepy wooden cardinal bird watching us eat, without blinking... nature... that's why we come up here... goulet

Pancakes and bacon.  I told the waitress we would probably need more syrup, 3 full pitchers wouldn't be enough...she said she would bring out more... When I told her I was just joshing she said she had a customer who actually used the entire pitcher of syrup on his pancakes, and then she made the gesture like she was holding a big beach ball and puffed out her cheeks... awesome, the boys didn't know what to think, all I could think was diabetes!  I felt like that deserved a 35% tip for sure
Lars lover of bacon, pancakes and all things tasty
